Finding a way since 1973.
We don’t back down from hard jobs. The H-3 might look like a natural part of the landscape today, but back in the 1990s, the land above the Hospital Rock tunnels was completely removed and rebuilt. ILM took on the massive job of landscaping it again, dealing with unstable ground and steep slopes to bring the landscape back. And that’s just one story. After more than 50 years working across the Islands, we could talk story for days.
Our roots go back even further. ILM was built on generations of farming, respect for the ʻāina, hard work, and the belief that when something gotta get done, you figure out how fo’ do ’em. That’s how we’ve kept Hawaiʻi green for more than half a century.
